Medea awards 2019

Medea awards 2019

This year in tandem with the Video in Higher Education conference organised by the Media & Learning Association with KU Leuven on 5-6 June 2019 in Leuven, Belgium, the annual MEDEA Awards are specifically devoted to higher and continuing education.

Submit your entry related to Higher and/or Continuing Education by 15 March 2019!

In recent years there has been a huge increase in the extent to which media in general and video in particular is playing a role in higher and continuing education and with this year’s MEDEA awards, we aim to identify, recognise and reward the very best of what is happening in these sectors.

So, whether you have created or are using a ground-breaking media-based tool, providing an innovative service or technology, have created an exceptional audio-visual production or are instrumental in putting in place an innovative media based pedagogical approach – consider submitting an entry to this year’s competition.

Two categories of entry are possible:

• The MEDEA Award for User-Generated Educational Media honours the best entry submitted by teachers, students, professors, individuals or organisational representatives in higher education or continuing education and/or training.

• The MEDEA Award for Professionally Produced Educational Media honours the best professional educational media product, resource, tool or service produced or managed by a professional or semi-professional production unit where the production is aimed at the higher education or continuing education sector.

The judges may, at their discretion, also present the Special MEDEA Jury Prize to an approach or production in recognition of exceptional innovation in pedagogic or technical design.
